To a better year ahead

In another 9 days' time..2011 is coming to an end
And it's time to welcome 2012

New Year is always about resolutions
I used to have resolutions
But end up not keeping up with any
Though some i managed to achieve after years of having them in my list
I guess...some things just cannot be achieved in a year's time
It needs...yearsss....

Example: My Operasi X
Which I can quite proudly say.. I've (almost or already) achieved :-)


2012 means i'm even nearer to the big 3
Can't believe i'm actually THAT 'big' d
I think I kinda stuck at 24 and nvr grow since then
I haven't really reached the maturity of a late 20's 'girl' YET(yea..i still like to refer to myself as a girl)

I guess sitting in our comfort zone doesn't help with our maturity process
In fact I think I grew exponentially when I left home to Shah Alam
I was forced to grow up
And a lil more when I went to NZ
The struggles and sufferings make us stronger and wiser, I guess
Yea..like what they say "Whatever that doesn't kill us, makes us stronger"

I guess for 2012..
I just wish for new challenges
( Yea i know it's a very dangerous thing to ask for)
But with the new challenges, i also pray for the strength to face them :)
(To really write out my resolutions one by one would be revealing too much about my private life)

Hope that 2012 will be a better one for everyone
But then again...it depends on how we interprete the things around us that determine if it's a better one
So..hope that we can all have a grateful heart and be filled with joy in this coming New Year...

And also..I should include a Christmas song that i really like
